SPRING VALLEY – A two-alarm fire of unknown origin destroyed an East County home Wednesday.
The blaze in the 8800 block of Kenwood Drive in Spring Valley erupted shortly before 11 a.m., a dispatcher said.

Thirty juveniles violating curfew were picked up in an overnight sweep through Lemon Grove and Spring Valley, but instead of being locked up, most were taken to a middle school for counseling, the sheriff’s department reported Saturday.

SPRING VALLEY (CNS) – Three people were stabbed at a party early Sunday, a San Diego County sheriff’s lieutenant said.
