Tila Tequila talks about her lawsuit against Shawne Merriman

She says she was scared for her life.
For the first time, we’re hearing from reality TV star Tila Tequila about her citizen’s arrest of Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman back in September.
Tequila is angry and emotional as she reflects on what has been a very difficult time for her since that night at Merriman’s house.
“I’m not one of those women who’s a groupie, that hangs out with superstars and drools all over them. I have my own business,” said Tequila.
Tequila denies drinking alcohol that night at the San Diego club Stingaree as was previously reported, or at Shawne Merriman’s house, but she says drugs were consumed by the people at his house.
“Jay — Shawne’s brother — manufactures ecstasy at Shawne’s house in one of his rooms,” Tila claimed. “Manufactures them just for Shawne so that it won’t show up in his blood test or drug test.”
Tequila says after the group took the ecstacy, it was off to the bedroom. She says Merriman was with two women and wanted Tequila to be a part of the party. When she refused and wanted to leave Merriman’s home, she says Shawne became violent.
“He tackled me down to the couch just like how he tackles those football guys,” she told us. “I couldn’t breathe. Then I felt my eyes starting to pop out of my head cause the blood was cutting off from my neck. I was scared for my life.”
Merriman denies ever touching Tequila. And District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis did not bring criminal charges.
“I just wished he didn’t have to do that cause I don’t want to hurt him. I don’t want to hurt his career,” Tequila reflects with regret. “I wanted to say, ‘Lights out, baby,’ you know? Cause that’s what I used to do at his games and I would be so proud of him and I said, ‘Why did you have to do this?’ ’cause I want to see him do well.”
Tequila has a $1.5 million civil suit against Merriman. She says she will donate every dime to her charities if she wins.

Merriman responds to Tequila
SAN DIEGO - Using her webcam at home on Thursday, Tila Tequila accused Shawne Merriman of being a pedophile and a racist.
“He sleeps with minors and forces them to take drugs. So he sleeps with these little girls,” Tila charges in her video. “He don’t even like black girls — he don’t even support black people — so I don’t understand why you support him.”
The video diatribe was posted Thursday morning. Tequila and her attorney have filed a $1.5 million dollar civil suit against Merriman following an incident in September at his home; an incident District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis declined to pursue in criminal court.
“The DA’s office has said in the previous case I didn’t do anything wrong,” Merriman said. “There’s no criminal matter being done and it’s just obvious at this point of what it is and we’re just going to wait and see.”
As for being called a pedophile and racist, Merriman called the accusations disgusting and said Tequila’s video is a disturbing look inside a troubled soul.
“I haven’t paid attention to that at all,” claimed Merriman. “I think that a lot of that speaks for itself and I just let her talk about those things and that doesn’t do anything for me or anybody else. I’m just concentrating on Denver and that’s the only thing that’s important to me right now.”
Tequila’s attorney also noted that he stands by his client and is going full speed ahead with the civil case.

Tila need her ass whooped. She’s a damn lie, this interview didn’t make me feel a bit sympathetic to her. REAL people no he story is bullshit. She uses drugs heavily. She was stripping, and ranting on cam the other night. Is that how a person who has a “charity” acts?
Many people recorded this show, and will be proud to hand it over to the defense team, to show that Shawne wasn’t lying about what type of person she is. Oh, and the video on the site has been made private by her, i guess she knew that this video was going to prove something.
But as i said before, some who saw the video recorded it. Once you see it, you will know that she has problems, and is a habitual liar. She doesn’t need money, she needs help.
Her fifteen minutes are almost up. She has about twenty seconds left, and she’s in overtime mode trying to extend those minutes.

Okay if Shawne really did tackle her like he would to a football player on the field, she would be seriously injured…Why would football players wear all that protective gear on the field even when theyre being tackled by someone their own size if nothings going to happen to them then? I don’t know either of these two people, and don’t think I want to. All I know is that a man who lived next to Merriman (when the latter lived in Scripps Ranch before moving to Poway) said that he was the nightmare of the neighborhood: driving fast on residential streets at all hours, allowing trash to accumulate, having loud and wild parties far into the night, and treating his neighbors with contempt. You can see some of these narcissistic traits on the football field.
I love football, but I feel a little sorry for these “Bolts” devotees who put their brains into deep-freeze whenever a thug like this is exposed to sunlight.

This is what happens when you constantly lie on people. No one will believe you. While abuse is definitely ever okay, I don’t believe she was ever hit by him. If this 6′4 270lb football player shook, choked and tackled her like she has been claiming, then there would be more than just bruising on her arms. She’d probably have a concussion, a serious neck injury, broken bones; something. BTW, didn’t she go to the hospital? I would sure like to see those hospital reports. Hopefully Tequila hasn’t bitten off more than she can chew.

As much as I can’t stand this woman and I think she’s an attention whore in general, this sort of issue isn’t something you “make up” for publicity. I’m sure she knows of other ways to get that attention. Especially when these issues usually turn into a “he-said-she-said” battle.
As for the bruises that everyone demands to see, violence doesn’t always produce such obvious markings like that of Rhianna or something. I was punched in the face by an ex-bf and got a light bruise. Does that mean it was okay since I didn’t have any broken bones?
No matter how she dresses or behaves, violence should never be condoned.

She’s obviously lying. No way ANYONE would get violent after smoking pot and taking ecstasy. Anyone who has ever tried either of these drugs can confirm this. I hope the defense attorney brings in witnesses to attest to this fact.

so sad, I used to like her! anyone who watches this video can see that crazy nut needs help! Her story doesnt make any sence and what is she gonna say when the videos come out in his defense? ooooppsss! CRAZY!
