The San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival officially kicked off last night with the San Diego Wine Rave.
The wine-tasting event, which was held at the W Hotel in downtown San Diego from 7 to 10 p.m., hosted 25 of what the website called “edgiest wine and spirits on the market today” as well as gourmet food.
The sixth annual Wine & Food Festival will run through November 22 and will feature over 170 world-class winemakers, 70 of San Diego’s top chefs, authors, gourmet food producers and even celebrity chefs.
SDNN’s Don Kohlbauer was there to catch all the sipping, swirling and fun.
