San Diego court rooms to close on Wednesday
All courtrooms and business offices of the San Diego Superior Court will be shuttered Wednesday, under the ongoing one-day-a-month closure for all state courts due to California’s financial crisis.
The California Judicial Council approved the unprecedented closures due to the Legislature’s reduced state funding to the courts. San Diego County’s court closures began in September.
Court facilities housing county operations such as the District Attorney’s Office, Probation and Child Support will be open on Wednesday, but all court operations will be closed.
The public is urged to visit the court’s Web site at www.sdcourt.ca.gov to handle traffic tickets or get court information. The one-day-a-month closures are expected to continue through next June.
