Victim airlifted after Oceanside accident

OCEANSIDE - One person was seriously hurt Sunday when two cars collided in a busy Oceanside intersection, a police dispatcher said.
The cars collided around 4:15 p.m. at Oceanside Boulevard and Melrose Drive, on the east edge of the city, near Vista, an Oceanside police dispatcher said.
An occupant of one of the vehicles was taken to Tri-City Medical Center and airlifted to a trauma center, said a dispatcher with the Northcomm fire dispatching agency.
