It’s a guy kind of Christmas Eve: tons of booze and poker and tall tales. But one of the card players has stacked the deck.  SDNN theater critic Pat Launer chats with Sam Woodhouse, co-founder/artistic director of the San Diego Repertory Theatre, about his role as The Devil in Conor McPherson’s spooky comic drama, “The Seafarer.”

Event info: San Diego Repertory Theatre’s production of Conor McPherson’s “The Seafarer” runs November 14 through December 13 at the Lyceum Theatre, 79 Horton Plaza, in downtown San Diego. Tickets/information: (619) 544-1000; http://www.sdrep.org
