Drunk driver hits SD police motorcycle officer
A suspected drunken driver struck a San Diego police motorcycle officer on patrol in Hillcrest today, but he escaped injury, a spokeswoman said.
The driver hit the motorcycle with her vehicle at the intersection of Fourth Avenue and University Boulevard around 1 p.m., said San Diego Police Department spokeswoman Monica Munoz.
The woman, whose age and name were not immediately available, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving, she said.
