RANCHO SANTA FE (CNS) – A man carrying a black pistol robbed a North County bank today, a sheriff’s official reported.
The thief passed a demand note to a teller at the Bank of America branch office in the 17000 block of Avenida de Acacias in Rancho Santa Fe about 10 a.m., Lt. Anthony Ray said.
The bandit — described as a roughly 5-foot-8-inch, 150-pound white man in a gray hat and gray tweed coat — fled with an undetermined amount of cash, the lieutenant said.
