Terranea, the luxe resort that opened this spring on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, is having a half-price sale for those who book by Oct. 27 and stay anytime through Dec. 17. The deal, which offers rooms for two starting at $210 per night, is even valid for stays during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
Terranea sits on a stunning 102-acre oceanfront site just south of the Point Vicente lighthouse — a little more than two hours north of San Diego. The 582-room resort includes a 360-room hotel with 32 suites, plus 20 separate two-bedroom bungalows. It offers three swimming pools, eight dining venues, a well-equipped 5,000-foot fitness center, a 25,000-square-foot spa and a 9-hole, par-3 golf course.

Half-off rates do not include the resort’s $25 daily resort fee. You’ll pay an additional $20 per night to self-park your car; valet parking costs $30 per night. To book the deal, go to www.terranea.com or phone (888) 802-7462.
