Woman robs Scripps Ranch bank, FBI seeks
The FBI is seeking the public’s help in identifying a woman who robbed a Scripps Ranch bank.
The woman gave a teller a note demanding cash at the U.S. Bank branch office at 12265 Scripps Poway Parkway around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, said FBI spokesman Darrell Foxworth. The teller complied and no one was hurt, he said.
The robber was described as white, around 35 years old, 5 feet 5 and 140 pounds, with short, dark hair. She wore a white-hooded sweatshirt, faded blue jeans, black tennis shoes and oversized sunglasses, and carried a black shoulder bag.
Anyone with information on the robber is asked to call San Diego County Crime Stoppers at (858) 565-1255. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
