The Chargers returned to practice on Monday, still with many of the regulars off the field. Shawne Merriman, Shaun Phillips, Travis Johnson, Stephen Cooper, and Jacques Cesaire all sat out due to injury, while Antwan Applewhite and Scott Mruczkowski returned to the field. Instead of thinking about lineup changes for his struggling defense, Norv Turner just wants to put a healthy eleven on the field.
He also talked about the Broncos win over New England, their new-look “Wild Horses” formation and the emergence of QB Kyle Orton.
