Station wildfire evacuation areas and centers
LOS ANGELES - Here is a list of evacuation areas in effect Monday in response to the Station Fire, according to various fire agencies:
– In the Juniper Hills area, all homes north of Juniper Hills Road between Emma, Fort Tejon and Longview roads
– In La Crescenta, neighborhoods in the vicinity of Rosemont, La Crescenta and Ramsdale; north of Rockdell Street and Faircrest Drive between Rosemont Avenue and the foothills; south of Markridge Road to Orange Avenue between Pennsylvania Avenue and Ocean View Boulevard, including Orange Cove Avenue
– In Acton, Soledad Canyon Road between Agua Dulce Canyon Road and Crown Valley Road, in addition to the area between Soledad Canyon Road, Aliso Canyon Road and Angeles Forest Highway
– In La Canada Flintridge, east of Jensen Drive, northeast of Los Amigos Street east of Castle Road and East of Ocean View Road; Briggs Avenue to Pennsylvania north of Harmony Place; Rockdale area, Briggs north of Rockdale
– In Altadena, Prieto Fire Road and Millard Canyon north of Risinghill Road; Chaney Trail and Alzada Drive north of Jaxine Drive
– Littlerock resort area, Cheseboro Road south of Mount Emma Road
– In Sunland-Tujunga, north of Apperson/Day streets, west of Blue Gum Canyon Road, north of Summitrose Street to Sevenhills Drive
Evacuation Centers are located at:
– La Canada High School, 4463 Oak Grove Drive, La Canada
– Crescenta Valley High School,2290 Community Ave., La Crescenta
– Golden Valley High School, 27051 Robert C. Lee Parkway, Santa Clarita
– Verdugo Hills High School, 10625 Plainview Ave., Tujunga
– Marie Kerr Park, 39700 30th Street West, Palmdale. Animal Evacuation Centers are at:
– Antelope Valley Fairgrounds; 155 E. Avenue I, Lancaster
– Hansen Dam Equestrian Center, 11127 Orcas Ave., Lake View Terrace, for large animals
– Pierce College, 6201 Winnetka Ave., for horses, donkey and mules only
– Lancaster Animal Shelter and Agoura Animal Shelter, for small animals only
Los Angeles city officials also set up a shelter at Sunland Park, along Foothill Boulevard near Sherman Grove Avenue, for evacuated Sunland-Tujunga residents.
