Saturday, July 18, 2009
Three juveniles were in custody Saturday on suspicion of burglarizing a Logan Heights middle school, police said.
Three male juveniles wearing masks broke into Memorial Middle Academy at 2850 Logan Ave. with crowbars and walked through the complex, setting off alarms, about 10:15 p.m. Friday, San Diego police Officer Brad Ruff said.
Police caught the trio and booked them at a juvenile detention center in San Diego, Ruff said. Police did not say if they were students at the school. Memorial Middle Academy is a charter school for scholars and athletes in the San Diego Unified School District.
