Police seek Pacific Beach shooter

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Police were searching for a gunman today who was involved in an early morning shooting in Pacific Beach, authorities said.
The shooting took place about 12:45 a.m. in the 1900 block of Grand Avenue, said San Diego police Officer Brad Ruff. The victim, 30, was shot in the right side of his face and one of his legs, said Ruff.
He was taken to a hospital and expected to survive. The shooter ran off after the attack. No motive for the shooting was offered by police.
The gunman was described as a black man in his mid 30s, about 6 foot 2 inches tall, with his hair in cornrows. He was wearing a gray T-shirt and long shorts.
