We visited The Red Door shortly after it opened. Were we pleased? You bet!! The meals were excellent and the service the best in San Diego. We enjoyed a great cream of mushroom soup, lettuce wedge salad, brined pork chop (huge) and a San Diego version of jambalaya with shrimp and polenta. We passed on the dessert menu, but couldn't resist a peek on our way out. Next time we'll start with the sweets. We recommend this restaurant to everyone we can.
