Gallery: “Bahia de los Angeles and California’s Gulf Islands”

Three years in the making, the “Bahia de los Angeles and California’s Gulf Islands” exhibition is on display at the Mexican Consulate in San Diego beginning June 30.
The photographic collection documents the natural beauty of Baja California with the purpose of promoting preservation.
Artist Inés Aramburo said she tried to capture the essence of the natural beauty of the desert while working on the project.
“For me photography is an art form that is most complete,” Aramburo explained. “It gives you the opportunity to show your vision and world to other people.”
The project was coordinated by Enrique Fuentes and students from Baja California’s Autonomous University’s Art School of Ensenada. The consulate [3] can be found at 1549 India Street in San Diego.
