A teenager testified today that his former fifth-grade teacher had sex with him on a number of occasions while he was 12 years old and in seventh grade.
Adrienne Feistel, 35, is charged with four counts of committing a lewd act on a child with substantial sexual conduct and six counts of lewd acts on a child aged 14 or 15. Feistel — who is free on $50,000 bail — faces up to eight years in prison if convicted.
The victim, now 15, testified during a preliminary hearing that the sexual activity with Feistel started about two months into his seventh grade year. At some point during that year, Feistel moved in with the victim’s family because she was having marital problems, he testified.
The boy — who will be a high school sophomore next year — said Feistel snuck into his bed and had sex with him a couple of months after moving in. “She would come in when everybody was sleeping,” the victim testified.
He said the sexual relations with Feistel continued after she moved out. The victim said the relationship made him uncomfortable and he didn’t want to have sex with the defendant. He said he ended up telling authorities what happened last August.
“I decided to stop and not do it anymore,” the boy testified. “She tried to kiss me and I wouldn’t.”
Investigators said Feistel pressured the boy into sex acts between August 2006 and last year. Feistel taught at Rosa Parks Elementary School but went on leave on Feb. 27, 2006. She resigned from the district on September 1 of that year. Feistel’s attorney told Judge Gale Kaneshiro that the sexual relationship never happened. At the end of the hearing, the judge will decide if enough evidence was presented to order Feistel to stand trial.

Mr. Sweats, it’s the power they yield over a 15 year old. They don’t feel they have the same power over older guys. I know, it sucks.
Funnny thing…I only remember having one teacher that I wish would’ve lived with me and tried that. The rest of my teachers remined me of Ben Stein.
