Street Scene adds two bands: Delta Spirit and Of Montreal

Adding to the lineup of Black Eyed Peas, M.I.A. and Thievery Corporation, the folks at Street Scene have included a couple more bands in the mix: Delta Spirit and Of Montreal.
Of Montreal is the brainchild of singer/multi-instrumentalist Kevin Barnes. With elaborate harmonies and hum-along choruses, the Athens, Ga.-based band comes off sounding like a ’70s David Bowie on acid. Of Montreal is touring behind 2008’s “Skeletal Lamping.” It’s all very glam.
San Diego’s own Delta Spirit made waves last fall with the sweet soulful rock tune “Trashcan”, released as a single off “Ode to Sunshine” (2008, Rounder Records).
