I must say - as a straight woman - I’m appalled at this and Obama! Why can’t the world let our lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people live their lives in peace? Have we learned NOTHING from slavery, discrimination and hate? Giving all of gods children their RIGHTS hurts no one! All of those that complain about gay marriage… they are simply not affected by whether or not a gay man or woman can enter a contract of love and have all the rights of a typical married couple. I simply do not understand why they can’t see how blatant the discrimination is!!! Why must we be even speaking about this? This should be a non- issue solved long ago.

All people should be allowed to marry, adopt children, get spouses benefits and health insurance and live their lives in peace and harmony - and acceptance in all our laws.

I truly feel for all of you!

Stand your ground and hold Obama to the plate - although I doubt he can be trusted. He has too many faces - and tells all what they want to hear.

I was never an Obama supporter. I witnessed firstand the appearances of Donnie McClurkin in Obama’s very first campaign swing through the South. It was shocking. After that and after closely monitoring his actions, refusing to be photographed with Gavin Newsome, refusing an appearance or statement for gay pride in Chicago, refusing interviews with gay media before the nomination, I became acutely aware of Obama’s willingness to co-opt us for money and votes but not willing to get out there and do what counted. Then when Prop 8 and Amendment 2 (Florida) happened, not a peep from Obama. His words did count or could have. But you must realize he’s got another election to win. That would be in 2012. Obama - the perpetual campaigner. Thats all he’s ever done. Run for the next office. Thats why his Senate and state record were so inadequate. He’s never stood up for anything with conviction. They accused the Clintons of triangulation. Please, never seen it done like Obama does it. Clinton was up against a powerful Republican majority, Sam Nunn of Ga , a Democrat and Obama supporter caused DADT when Clinton dared to keep his promise to us by allowing us to serve openly in the military. That was his first act when he got in office. How brave was that. Obama doesn’t have a brave convition in his body. Remember “just words”?Thats all he is. Just words. Whats really sad is how so many jumped on his bandwagon without question. Bush was elected because folks would rather have a beer with him. When are we gonna use intelligence instead of emotion when voting?

Thank you for not participating in the DNC fundraiser.
I will not support the DNC party any longer. I will only support a few select gay and lesbian officials who actually do something for our community including getting our full citizenship and basic civil rights. Don’t ask me to sit in the back of bus.

Thank you! I find the Obama Administration’s backtracking, flip flopping, and outright hostility in the DOMA brief appalling. I have always questioned his commitment to the LGBT cause because the signs have always been there…he undermined the fight against Prop 8 by making an appearance at Rick Warren’s church in a state he was bound to win. But he and the Dems sure seem happy enough to keep taking LGBT money! The hypocrisy is ugly. I am very disappointed.

What? Obama Schizophrenic?? Isnt’ this the same Stamp Corbin I saw on CNN/Campbell Brown a week ago defending Obama? Perhaps Mr. Corbin is the Schizo one. Make up your mind. Decide what you stand for. Decide whether you are going to let the President trample all over you or not. And once you’ve made up your mind, stick with it. One might think this Stamporoni just likes his name in the media and the more often he changes his tune the more often it will get played. Perhaps he should run for President!

Obama was more reactive, maybe even apologetic about Air Force One flying low over NYC. Didn’t someone loose their job over this?

But not a word after this disgusting brief was filed. A few hundred New Yorkers got scared compared to a few million who got reminded why they rate as second-class citizens.

hellooooo! the thing that continues to get me to shaking my head is why, why, why did you ever think that Obama would be in your corner? what is it in his lifetime of good deeds and actions (HAH!) that would lead you to believe that he is honorable, trustworthy, able, a leader, or a thinker? did you not peruse his scant resume’ before casting your vote? did you not notice that he left no fingerprints ANYWHERE in his short life/career? and that those he has left have been photoshopped to death by the media in his pocket, among all those others in his pants? no college records, papers, state senate records, nothing. do you even know who financed his eduation? the way he treated Hillary during his campaign should have been enough to show that he is useless. the way he sat in a church for 20 years and listened to hate rant should have been enough to show that he is useless. the way he denied knowing/hearing the hate rant for 20 years should have been enough to show he is useless. the way he used the race card during his campaign should have been enough to show he is useless. the way he flipped on FISA, DOMA, DADT, campaign finance…the list goes on and on. the way he refused to have his photo taken with Gavin Newsome. Come on. Are you blind or what? Are you deaf? I am happy that you are finally seeing his true colors, but you know what? We are so in need of actual, true, REAL change in this country, on every single issue we face, and we had a chance for that in Hillary, and the people fell once again for the fraud. AGAIN. after 8 years it happened again. And no one can say they weren’t warned. It was all there for the reading, watching, and listening ~ if you were looking, watching, and really listening.
Now comes the really hard part. what the hell do we do now that he is in office? a bit late don’t you think? the democrats/dnc betrayed every single one of us when they selected Obummer for the nominee through back-room deals and caucus fraud last year. it was amazing to watch my country fall further and deeper into the abyss and be helpless to do anything about it.
it is sad and heartbreaking, but Obama is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, and the sooner the electorate sees and acknowledges this, the sooner we will be able to remedy the situation. the democratic party was split deeply and irreversibly in 2008. i will never ever never ever forget the lawlessnes, fraud, and hoodwinking done at the hands of Alxerove/Obama/Emmanuel et al, and I won’t return to my party until the likes of them are cast out for the wrong-doers we all know they are. heaven help us all and thank you thank you thank you for finally opening your eyes and getting the clear picture. ask yourself this question: who is Obama and what does he stand for/believe? ANYTHING?
