Fire engulfs mobile home in East County
The fire also sparked a small brush fire in the area.
CREST -Flames destroyed a mobile home and spread to some nearby grass Tuesday morning in Crest, displacing two residents, according to a fire department dispatcher.
A non-injury fire in the 1900 block of Harbison Canyon Road, near Los Caballos Lane, was reported shortly after 5:30 a.m., a Cal Fire dispatcher said.
By 6:30 a.m., the blaze was mostly out, she said, adding that the Red Cross was called to help two displaced adult residents.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
