Too true. Would more folks avail themselves of the transit "system" if it:
a) ran more often.
b) cost less.
c) both 'a' AND 'b' ?
Judging from history, we'll never know.

Commuter story. While my car was in the shop for repairs, I had to ride the bus and trolley. A 15-20 minute drive from Mission Valley to Sorento Valley became a two hour ordeal-one way. Because of non-interlocking routes, there was a half hour gap to connect from the #20 North to the # 921 West. Bottom line, to be at work by 8AM, it was best to be on the bus/trolley by 05:30. Because the bus runs less frequently in the evening, count on getting home by 9PM or 10PM. Don't even try this on the weekend, if you have rotating shifts, many routes are suspended, or operate only during the hours you're supposed to be at work.
